ERA Leatherman Realty was founded by Jean Leatherman in 1993 and has continued a tradition of exceptional service ever since.  The company reflects her personal commitment to serving the Pee Dee area.  Jean herself is highly involved in the Florence community and was recently honored with the Marion Medallion.  The Marion Medallion is named for General Francis Marion, the revolutionary war leader who led Patriot forces in the Pee Dee Region, and who is the namesake of Francis Marion University.  In the presentation ceremony held on February 25, 2022, at the Francis Marion University Center for Performing Arts, FMU President Dr. Fred Carter said Leatherman made significant contributions to the improvement of the Pee Dee Region and its people.
